Part of Romont’s water comes from the Gibloux
From 21.2 to 22.2 °fH measured in 2025: moderately hard water.
A little over a quarter of the water in the Romont network comes from springs in the Gibloux, the municipality where our base is. The rest is bought from EauSud and comes from the groundwater of Charmey and Grandvillard. The hardness is steady without being low: in a water heater, limescale builds up over the years without anyone noticing, until the hot water runs short.
