Pool pump replacement in Lausanne and Valais
The filtration pump no longer starts, loses its flow or loses its prime every time it stops: without it, the water stops circulating and the pool deteriorates within a few days. The photos attached to your booking let us prepare the job and confirm its scope before we come.

When to replace the filtration pump
- It no longer starts, or trips the circuit breaker when it starts.
- A new noise or vibration, a motor that runs unusually hot.
- The flow has dropped, and cleaning the filter and the strainer basket makes no difference.
- It loses its prime as soon as it stops.
- A leak at the pump housing or the shaft seal.
Before replacing: check the rest of the circuit
Low flow often comes from elsewhere: a full strainer basket, a clogged filter that needs backwashing, a valve left in the wrong position, an air leak on the suction side, a blocked skimmer. These causes can be checked in a few minutes and cost nothing.
So the diagnosis comes before the replacement. That is what stops a pump that was working from being changed.
Book early in the season
Filtration breakdowns almost all happen at the same time, when pools are put back into service in the spring. If your pump ended last season badly, do not wait: early-season slots go quickly, and a pool left without filtration is hard to bring back.
What we need to know
Attach photos of the pump, the plant room and the rating plate, which shows the power and the flow rate, to your booking. Tell us the volume of the pool if you know it, and what you have already checked.
With this information, we confirm before the visit what the appointment includes and what would be charged as extra. Nothing goes ahead without your agreement.
